индоссамент, передаточная надпись.Подпись (с сопроводительной надписью или без нее) на обратной стороне оборотного документа. Сторона, совершающая индоссамент, - индоссант (endorser) -гарантирует тем самым выполнение определенных операций по данному документу (как правило, выплаты соответствующей суммы денег в срок, предусмотренный документом). Индоссирование расчетного документа после его вручения новому держателю (holder) представляет собой акт переуступки (negotiation), т.е. передачи права собственности на документ и покрываемые им товарно-материальные ценности либо денежные средства. Обычно оборотные документы выступают в форме тратт (draft), переводных векселей (bill of exchange), чеков, товарных квитанций, коносаментов (bill of lading), а также долговых обязательств типа расписок и облигаций.
